Today I want to talk about the most wearable summer track top five you're ready let's get started today I want to talk about some of the most wearable summer

trends so every season we go through trends I do them usually in the fall and in the spring but I thought it would be fun to just highlight the top five for summertime

these are the five most wearable trends for summer these the most realistic trends that I think all of you can wear no problem all of us can wear no problem

Sometimes we see trends on the runways and they just don't translate to real life they're just not practical they're not functional most of us with normal adult women

Bodies cannot wear these things and so I want to just talk about five key trends that I think are worth exploring that are very wearable that are very doable that I think

 that you would love incorporating into your summer wardrobe by the way if you catalogue explaining each piece in the capsule wardrobe and also this beautiful

graphic showing you every piece in the capsule wardrobe I really put a lot of time thought and effort and energy into that choosing each piece very thoughtfully and

Carefully some things may already be sold out if you're interested in that particular piece but just find something that's similar let's talk trends so

 

First Wearable summer trend

 

First major wearable summer trend is and shoulders just like these are huge right now pun intended huge for me the bigger the sleeve the bigger the shoulder the

better but some of you may not be puff shoulder puff sleeve people okay I have a friend here and telluride she actually came to my studio recently and tried on one

of my puff shoulder shirts and it looked kind of silly on her and she's like I want to be this girl but I'm not this girl's you can't force something it is either who you are

or it's not but if you like it the way I do the way I have embraced it then this is your moment to really wear the puff shoulder puff sleeve this is ideal for those of you

who are either narrow sloping shoulders because it builds the shoulder or if you have a boxy or shape like me more rectangular shape because building the shoulder

Actually makes your waist look smaller and so it's really ideal even if you are like plus-sized and maybe you have a little bit of a tummy and you have narrow sloping

Shoulders like my mom building up the shoulder will make you look wider up here and therefore in context smaller in the middle so something to think about ways to

Hide that tummy and that was one of the tips I have this shirt by Jawad which is super cute I love the print you know how I don't like prints in general this print

seems manageable to me although it is conflicting with the wall behind me another print I like are stripes I love polka dots I love small-scale floral prints I have two

Dresses that I wanted to show you that both have a puff sleeve that are super cute one is this white l'académie mini dress and this would be something you'd wear

alike to the beach or to the pool or to the lake maybe out to dinner if you're feeling a bit brave it is on the shorter side so that's something to consider but I like that it

has sleeve so it's showing off a lot of legs but you do have the sleeves so it's really a sweet dress and then the other one I wanted to show you is by sea slash Meo

collective and this dress is not like whites more of like a creamy off-white and it has a zip front which is really cool and edgy and then you've got the edgy zipper detail juxtaposed with the more feminine sweet puff sleeve so I like that contrast

Second most Wearable summer trends too of masculine feminine edgy feminine second most wearable summer trends is mint green there are varying shades of

Mint green if you find one that you really like grab it doesn't have to be traditional mint green you could go for different shades depending on what you feel most

comfortable in and what you feel really lights up your face a bit more so just hold it up to your face see how your skin looks when you hold it up to your face and then make your decision based on that now a lot of you have asked lately about colors and what are my colors and am I a summer fall winter spring and I know

there are color consultants out there and I don't want to disrespect any anybody that does that for a living personally I just say to always have said to clients you know

you wear the colors that you get the most compliments in the colors that you feel the best in because within every single color there are varying shades of that color

and red for example you've got hundreds of shades of red so if I said to you you can't wear red but then there are like 360 shades of red Aaron like does that mean I

can't wear 360 shades of red I just don't go into that color story for that reason I would never want to say to you oh you can't wear brown and then like you find this

beautiful like honey brown color it looks so wonderful on your skin and you're like in the backyard you're like ooh I don't know what to do I am NOT going to tell you  

can't wear mint green damn it you wear it if you want to you find a shade that works for you that you feel good in that puts a little spring in your step you'll be

Modern you'll be current you'll be on trend and you'll feel awesome and that's what matters to me so I did want to show you one mint green piece that I picked up this

season and this is a body soup I Amanda up Richard this is a line that's kind of obscure but I love her blouses and dresses so if you're not familiar with the brand

check it out I'll put a link below to some of my favorite I'm an aperture pieces but I have quite a few now it's just but again that mix of femininity really super modern

and also a little bit of edgy in there to this body suit by the way fits really nicely even though I'm petite I have a long torso and this body suit fits my torso so for those of you the longer torso just wanted you to know that some body suits run

 

Third Wearable Fashion trend for summer

 

The next wearable fashion trend for summer is the utility trends so utility also meaning like cargo pants utility shirts lots of pocket detailing that's military

inspired pieces for this trend I really have a lot of pieces I think they're all very wearable the reason I have so many pieces this season is because if you guys

remember we were supposed to go to Africa during kovat and we obviously canceled that trip but I still kept the pieces because I love them so much I have a

few I have this alc utility belted dress that I love it's a midi dress I love the sleeves I love the length of the dress it drapes beautifully hangs beautifully very

Comfortable I also have this wonderful self-portrait strapless top that's really cool and this was going to be like my stand out piece in Africa but it's just a really cool

top it has the utility inspired details because of the pockets and the belts and grommets on the belt but this trend in general this sort of Safari esque utility trend

is super wearable and you can find a color that suits you between olive green the beige is the topes the tans the Browns all of those beautiful yummy neutral colors

Like really take this trend in soak it in and also you know the great thing about this trend is even when it's not like hot anymore quote-unquote hot you can still wear

these pieces because it's one of those things it's like polka dots it's like there it's a classic it's never going to go away so don't worry about like investing in a really

Nice piece and then not being able to wear it in two three years you can always wear the utility trend.

 

Fourth Wearable Fashion trend for summer

 

Fourth wearable summer fashion trend is summer leather I know those of you who live in Florida in California Southern California are going to go I can't wear

Southern summer leather and you might be right you probably can't but for the rest of you live in more moderate climates where it's not 105 degrees and a lot of

Humidity on a regular basis summer leather is a awesome option and it will transition beautifully into fall and then you'll also be able to wear it in the winter

and also in the spring and that's kind of the wonderful thing about the summer leather trend so it could be in a really lovely summer color like my manouschka

Skirt that it have here it is paired with that same mint green bodysuit but this skirt is really sweet it is a mini so it's a bit shorter I love the knot front detailing and I also

Love than Anoosh coat leather it's all vegan leather and it's all very lightweight and it's all very soft and it really bends and molds with the skin so it really does kind of

Work with you move with you doesn't make you feel like you're you're locked into it I've invested in several pieces including a black faux leather top vegan leather

Top a white vegan leather top and then I did buy a pair of her vegan leather pants but I won't be wearing them this summer because they're just too hot the other

Piece the other leather piece I bought was this rotate top which you might remember it looks just like my pink puffy sleeve dress I brought a group of friends

here recently and they were like where are you going in that Paris France and I was like no I'm just going to wear it out to dinner here I mentioned to you guys and but I

basically no one dresses up here I don't care I wear what makes me happy what makes me smile what makes me feel like a million bucks and I've always said I

like drama with my clothes none of my life but in my clothes and so I go for dramatic pieces so this is a very dramatic leather top faux leather I should say top

Another option for summer leather is a summer leather blazer so I do have one summer leather blazer by Veronica beard it is a stunning piece very pricey so you

can look for a vegan leather optional I'll put one below this is kind of a one-of-a-kind so it'll be impossible to find something really similar but we'll find something

that is as similar as we can and then also you can always do a vegan leather moto jacket so remember the scoop Walmart leather moto jackets faux leather moto

Jackets those are awesome I featured another white moto jacket in my how to look younger how to look 10 years younger which by the way if you miss that you need

to go back and watch that one it's one of my favorites and faux leather pieces again if it makes sense for you and the climate that you're in.

 

Fifth Wearable Fashion trend for summer

The last wearable summer fashion trend I wanted to share with you guys is tie-dye so in my blog talked about fashion trends that need to go away do you guys

Remember that one many of you wrote into comments that you want to see tie-dye go away you're like goodbye tight well I tend to agree with that but I do think

there's a way to find pieces that feel more elevated and sophisticated so just be very strategic with your tie-dye selections so I wanted to show you a tank dress that I

bought it is by Michael Stars it's under a hundred so it's not crazy in terms of price if you like the tank dress look this really sporty sexy look you will love this dress

it's so bold and fun and against 40 sexy what I really like about this is how they

Strategically use the tie-dye to make you look slimmer so they use these white tie-dye panels on the side that sort of carve off inches off the side of your body and

then the dark pink panel in the middle and that really makes you look quite slim and trim the problem with the tank dress is if you are already kind of triangle-

Shaped meaning your hips button thighs are bigger than your bus this will exaggerate that it still can be very flattering and if you're worried about that

Balance on the upper body you can just throw a little white moto over it and then you'll you'll have your balance no problem here's another tie-dye piece I wanted to

Show you guys this is an odd Johnson dress that I got on sale recently it is or it looks very orange on camera but it's actually more of like a melon peachy color

and the tie-dye is very subtle you can see the the print you have to almost look closely to see that it's tie-dye it's not like in-your-face tie-dye not like the

traditional like middle and swirl all around it it's definitely more sophisticated so I just wanted to show you that because I do think a lot of us are like Oh tie-dye who

Remembers tie-dye in your own t-shirts did anybody do that because I did that I think I was in high school doing that maybe it was middle school I can't remember

but I used to tie-dye everything okay cuz I was so into tie-dye and so you might kind of see some of the sweatshirts and t-shirts and go Oh yuck but there are ways

that it's being done that feel more modern feel more sophisticated and feel more elevated because we are all very sophisticated grown-up 40 plus year old women

and we need elevated tie-dye correct am i right top 5 most wearable summer trends are puff sleeves puff shoulders mint green also other pastel colors like pastel pink I
